Procurement Week started in 2012 with an audience of 153 people. In only five years, Procurement Week has grown in both size (850+ attended the event from 40+ countries last year) and scope and has quickly established itself as the ‘go-to’ global procurement conference. Year after year, the Institute for Competition and Procurement Studies has strived to deliver something new, something innovative, and something that makes people think differently about procurement.
At the last Procurement Week, 97% of our Audience told us that Procurement Week met and exceeded all their expectations. In addition, over 95% of our audience told us that they left the week believing that they learnt something new that could be used in their workplace.
Last year Chris Hoyle, Crown Commercial Service (UK) said, “I really enjoyed my time at Procurement Week, and its growing success. The excellent quality of the presentations. The global range of attendees is a testimony to the efforts that you and your colleagues have made to bring this subject to the forefront of the stage”.
In addition, Professor Chris Yukins, George Washington University (USA) was captivated by the event, “I found the conference fascinating- the presentation on the new negotiations to open procurement of services under WTO was remarkable, and a cutting edge development”.
Peter Fatelnig, European Commission, was overwhelmed with the amout of new and rewarding contacts he made at the event stating, "myself and many of my colleagues that attended found the event very inspiring and made many new contacts".
Whilst Gunther Kostyra, Welsh Government said, 'It gets better every year - you will not get anything like it anywhere'.
Quite possibly the quote of the conference came from Steven Mason, Director of BCC IT who said, "Simply World Class. Still not sure how you were able to attract such a diverse audience".
